A mountain getaway, together

A little more room for the ones you love.

Traveling with a dog changes the details that matter: where you can walk, how long you can be away, and whether your stay feels comfortable for everyone. A private cabin can make the trip feel easier, with room to unwind between Smoky Mountain outings.

Ghosal’s cabins offer a range of layouts and amenities, from cozy couple getaways to larger homes for families and friends. Features vary by property, so compare the listing details and pet rules before choosing your stay.

A simpler way to plan

Three steps to a smoother pet-friendly stay.

01

Choose a pet-friendly cabin

Start with a home that welcomes your dog, then read its individual house rules before you book. Pet acceptance and property details can vary.

02

Plan the people-and-pup days

Mix easy outdoor walks, patio stops, and time back at the cabin. Confirm current pet policies directly with each park, attraction, and restaurant.

03

Settle into cabin time

A private cabin gives your group space to slow down together. Amenities differ by home, so use the listing to choose the right fit for your stay.

The Smokies with your dog

Build a day around the fresh air.

Our local guide rounds up pet-friendly dining, parks, attractions, and outdoor ideas around Gatlinburg, Sevierville, and Pigeon Forge. A little planning helps you avoid arriving somewhere that cannot welcome your dog that day.

Read the local pet-activities guide

The guide is a starting point, not a guarantee of current access. Confirm pet policies, hours, and seasonal restrictions with each venue before setting out.

Parks & open space

Stretch your legs nearby.

The GLL guide highlights local spots such as Patriot Park, Mynatt Park, and Wear Farm City Park. Check each park’s current rules and leash requirements before you visit.

Patio stops

Pause for a meal together.

The local guide lists outdoor dining ideas around the area. Patio access can change with weather and business policy, so call ahead before bringing your dog.

A park rule worth knowing

Great Smoky Mountains National Park has limited pet access.

Dogs are permitted on the Gatlinburg Trail and Oconaluftee River Trail, and in certain developed areas such as campgrounds and picnic areas. In permitted areas, keep your pet on a leash no longer than six feet. Dogs are not allowed on other park trails.
