There’s a theme park in the Smoky Mountains — and it’s not what you’re expecting. Instead of rollercoasters and mascots, Dig’n Zone Theme Park puts you behind the controls of real construction equipment. We’re talking excavators, skid steers, pavement rollers, and more — all modified for safety and designed so guests of all ages can operate them hands-on.
The idea came to life back in 2016 when co-founder Weston O’Dell watched an episode of Shark Tank featuring a construction park in Minnesota. Inspired by the concept, he teamed up with Gary Allen and Grant Hensley to create something even bigger — a full-blown theme park centered around machinery and interaction. They broke ground in 2022 and officially opened Dig’n Zone in March 2024. Since then, it’s become one of the most talked-about family attractions in the Smoky Mountains.
How to Get There

Dig’n Zone Theme Park is located at 1707 Veterans Blvd, Sevierville, TN 37862, just a short drive from the heart of Pigeon Forge. Whether you’re coming in from Gatlinburg, Knoxville, or anywhere in the Smokies, getting there is straightforward — no backroads or tricky turns. As soon as you arrive, one thing you’ll notice is how convenient everything feels. Parking is completely free and located right next to the entrance, so there’s no shuttle bus or long walk required. For families juggling strollers or anyone with mobility concerns, that setup is a huge win.
The park is also built with accessibility in mind, with flat, paved walkways that make it easy for wheelchairs and scooters to get around. Restrooms are accessible, seating areas are spread throughout the park, and many of the attractions are designed so that guests of all ages and abilities can participate comfortably. It’s clear that Dig’n Zone isn’t just about fun — it’s about making sure everyone gets to enjoy it.

Tickets & Pricing: What to Know Before You Go

Before you head to Dig’n Zone Theme Park, it’s helpful to understand the ticket options and pricing to plan your visit effectively. Whether you’re considering a day trip or multiple visits throughout the season, Dig’n Zone offers various ticket types to suit your needs. From single-day passes to season-long access, and even options to skip the lines, there’s a ticket package designed for every kind of guest. Let’s break down the current ticket prices and what each option includes.
Dig’n Zone Day Pass
If you’re planning a single-day visit, Dig’n Zone’s Day Pass is the most straightforward and flexible option. Passes are not tied to a specific date, which means you can use them on any standard operating day — no reservations required. Once you’re in, your pass gives you unlimited access to all attractions for the entire day, including construction equipment rides, the arcade, food court access, and more.
As of 2024, Day Pass pricing is based on age:
- Children 2 & under: Free
- Ages 3–10: $55
- Ages 11–64: $69
- Ages 65+: $55
Click here to buy your day pass.
Tickets can be purchased online or at the park’s ticket center, and once you’re inside, there’s no cap on how many times you can ride. Free parking is included, and the park clearly states that all attractions are open to Day Pass holders unless noted otherwise. Just keep in mind: all sales are final — Dig’n Zone doesn’t offer refunds, and special event days may require separate tickets. Still, if you’re looking for a full day of hands-on fun with no extra ride fees, the Day Pass is a solid deal.
Season Passes: Unlimited Visits All Year
If one day at Dig’n Zone isn’t enough, the Season Pass might be the better fit — especially for locals or frequent visitors to the Smokies. Season Passes grant unlimited access to the park on any standard operating day throughout the 2024 calendar year. Just like Day Passes, they include entry to all attractions, but with the flexibility to return again and again. Pricing is based on age:
- Ages 3–10: $199
- Ages 11–64: $249
- Ages 65+: $199
Click here to buy your season passes.
Children 2 and under are still free and don’t require a pass. It’s worth noting that Season Passes do not include separately ticketed special events, and quantities are limited — so they may sell out. If your family plans to visit more than twice a year, the Season Pass can offer great value while giving you the freedom to stop by anytime the park’s open.
Turbo Pass: Skip the Lines for Faster Fun
If you want to make the most of your visit and cut down on wait times, the Turbo Pass is your fast-track ticket. This optional add-on gives you access to “speedier” lines at select attractions, allowing you to bypass the standard General Admission queues. It’s ideal if you’re visiting on a busy day or just want to experience more of the park in less time.
Turbo Passes are sold in limited quantities per day, and the way they work is simple: once you check in and receive your TurboPass badge or lanyard, you’ll be able to use it at participating attractions. The access ratio is usually 1:1 (one Turbo guest for every one general admission guest), though the park can adjust this based on crowds.
Turbo Pass Pricing:
- Ages 3–10: $49
- Ages 11–64: $59
- Ages 65+: $49
Keep in mind: the Turbo Pass is not a park admission ticket on its own. It must be purchased along with a Day Pass or Season Pass for the same day of your visit.
